Our 5-minute update on Special Friends Sports Trust October 2022

We’ve had lots of help along the way. But recently, we’ve had the very generous support of a number of local businesses, including Nexia, 99 Bikes Hornby, Crank Cycles Hornby, Cashmere Tennis Club, The Bealy Hotel, Serious Fun Events, and the Dutch Grand Prix Alpaca Cycling Group, aka “The Legends.” The Legends have played a significant role in helping us deliver our program to more children in a number of different sports.

Over the last month, we have funded two new BMXs, karate lessons, dance lessons and added four new children to our scholarship program.

Last week, trust ambassador Reon Nolan took one of our young mentees out for her first ride on her new BMX. Also, massive congrats to Reon and his partner Kate who have just welcomed their own little one to the family.
